We provide services to both children and adults enabling them to reach their optimal level of communication or swallowing function. We offer effective treatment for clients with disorders that include:

Dysphasia/Swallowing Therapy
The Rehab Center has Speech Language Pathologists who are trained and certified to perform electrical stimulation for swallowing disorders. These are state-of-the art treatment techniques for swallowing disorders with results based on client’s pre- and post-treatment Modified Barium Swallow Studies. Results are seen in significantly less time than with traditional swallowing therapy. Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation is used in conjunction with oral / facial icing techniques, facial massage, lingual / labial oral motor exercises and articulation therapy.

Aquatic Speech Therapy – Our Speech Pathologists are trained in providing aquatic speech therapy. This can be effective for clients who exhibit problems including, but not limited to the following:
- Voicing, respiration, and volume-control
- Oral hypersensitivity or hyposensitivity
- Motor speech disorders (developmental or acquired apraxia of speech, dysarthria, and articulation delays/disorders)
- Focusing and attending
- Pervasive developmental disorders
Voice – We offer evaluations and treatment using our SonaSpeech Program, which allows us to obtain objective data regarding vocal parameters and provides the client with visual feedback about their performance.
Autism Spectrum Disorders – We provide services related to pragmatics (social skills), feeding, articulation and receptive and expressive language that may occur secondary to a diagnosis of ASD. Our Speech-Language Pathologists not only provide treatment in the therapeutic setting, but also an abundance of resources and strategies for families to utilize in a variety of environments to maximize their child’s overall success.
Aural Rehab for Cochlear Implant Clients – Programs are available for children and adults.
