Programs
 
The Rehab Center serves clients with disabilities resulting from birth defects, accidents, disease, head or spinal cord injuries, strokes, and a variety of other diagnosis.   All types and degrees of disabilities for all ages are treated at the Center.   We are certified for Medicare and for Early Childhood Intervention.   We continue to be recognized throughout the community for excellence in the services we provide.   We were voted Texoma’s Best Rehabilitation Center for 2005.   

 The Center provides a continuum of care that promotes the well-being and total health concept from rehabilitation through wellness and preventative services.   The following programs are available at the Center and through contracts with hospitals, schools, assisted living centers, childcare facilities, industries and other organizations throughout the area.   

  Physical Restoration—a comprehensive rehabilitation program for children and adults who have physical and/or neurological impairments.  

Communications—is a program for clients with speech/language delays and disorders, articulation difficulties, cleft palate, voice disorders, neurological disease, and neurogenic and functional swallowing disorders.   Auditory Integration is also included.  

Early Childhood Intervention ( EC I)—is a program providing services to children, birth to age three, who have disabilities or delays in their development.    

  Child Achievement Program (CAP)—is a program for children, ages 3-17, which have attention deficits, dyslexia, hyperactivity, coordination disorders, reading, writing, or other learning disabilities. This program also incorporates physical, occupational, and speech therapy as well as wellness programs.

  Support Groups—includes Multiple Sclerosis Support Group, Parkinson’s Exercise Group, Post-Polio Support Group and Infant/Child Development Support Group.   There is also a Stroke Maintenance Group for stroke survivors, which provides socialization and therapeutic activities for those who continue to experience speech and language difficulties.

  Aquatic and Wellness Center—is a 13,000 square foot facility offering the warm-water Wilson Therapy pool, a 6-lane, 25 yard lap pool, group fitness classes, personal training services, cardiovascular and weight training equipment.
