Welcome to the Jungle
For years, the Rehab Center has provided quality therapy services to children , but now, the envirionment where they receive those services is a lot brighter and more exciting thanks to a grant from the Gene Conley Foundation.
Thanks to their recent grant, the Rehab Center's pediatric gym is now an underwater world, filled with fish, dolphins and other sea creatures. Several new kid-sized therapy items were also purchased, including a platform swing, ramp and play mat. This, combined with our climbing wall, balls, bikes and other games make it the perfect setting for pediatric therapy.
Just down the hall, the Child Achievement Program area has been transformed into a colorful jungle with animals hanging from trees and hiding in bushes. This once plain hallway, now provides an exciting and interactive introduction for children arriving for therapy services. Meanwhile, our therapists use the colors and pictures to stimulate speech therapy and get children to make sounds and express themselves.
